Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the www.tradesguild.ca website (the “Service”, “Website”) and engaging with the programs and services offered by Trades Guild (“Trades Guild”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service and participation in our programs is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, participants, donors, and others who wish to access or use the Service or participate in our programs.
By accessing or using the Service or participating in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service or participate in our programs.
1. About Trades Guild
Trades Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing skills training, life skills development, and mentorship to marginalized youth to help them build stable careers and brighter futures. Our services include, but are not limited to, woodworking training programs, mentorship, job placement assistance, and community support initiatives.
2. Use of Website and Content
- Permitted Use: The content on our Website (including text, graphics, logos, images, and software) is the property of Trades Guild or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You are granted a limited license to access and make personal, non-commercial use of this content.

- No Guarantee of Employment: While Trades Guild provides job placement assistance and skills training, we do not guarantee employment or any specific career outcome for program participants.
4. Donations
- Trades Guild is grateful for all donations, which support our mission and programs.
- Donations made through our Website or other channels are voluntary and non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Tax receipts for eligible donations will be issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines.
- Please ensure all donor information provided is accurate for tax receipting purposes.

All intellectual property rights related to the Trades Guild name, logo, program materials, and website content are owned by Trades Guild or licensed to us. Unauthorized use of any Trades Guild intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and programs, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service and programs.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material revision will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service or participate in our programs after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
